For everyone who has a cell phone one of the biggest nightmares of cell phone users is having their phones soaked in water. They do not like it at all and they protect their phones all the time because they dread the repercussion of having their phones drowned in any type of liquid. I have this horror too and I always tell myself I am going to buy myself a phone that is water resistant so that I would not have to imagine having the phone I love so much in water. The one savior to drain up phones is the blow dryer. This comes after the phone is taken apart and is not at any one point turned on when it is wet or even put in to the charger because that will damage it. After it has been taken apart, the blow dryer can be used to make the phone be without water. This is successful only if the phone is dealt with immediately upon falling in to water, if it is left to stay in its wet state then that is going to be a problem. |

The Xbox 360 is my game console of choice because it strikes the perfect balance between hardcore games and a comfortable experience. Also working for a printed circuit board manufacturer (calibrating hexagonal spacers), I can appreciate the hardware built for this console. It has a better library of games for the gaming enthusiast than the Wii, as more of its titles lean towards the complex and in-depth as opposed to the casual and family oriented. However, its game library is about the same as that of the PS3, being that they shared many of the same titles. But the major advantage the Xbox 360 enjoys over the current generation Playstation (and indeed, its ancestors before it) is the far more comfortably shaped controller. Being much easier to hold, it enables the gamer to indulge in long and intense play sessions without the strain on the hand created by the Playstation controller. So there you have it... a game library tied for #1 among today's generation of consoles, along with a more ergonomic experience than its leading competitor, makes the Xbox 360 the best console on the market now and in the foreseeable future. |

With technology baking itself into almost every facet of our lives - from laptops to smartphones to tablets, we're spending more and more time in front of a screen. Thanks to the likes of surface mount components, cheaper RAM and CPU costs, we've never had it so good when it comes to gadgets - we're living a life our 80s selves could only dream about. But with this technology comes a price. Many of us are victims of information overload - we have little time between our online work, emails, social networking, browsing of news and community sites - to properly reflect and be human. There's less and less gaps between our screen time and it's having a negative impact on our psychological well-being. It's not the technology that's bad, it's how we use it. We're told that being connected all the time is a good thing, but it's thethering us to a digital treadmill - where we're constantly checking emails and texts, and news updates. We need to ration our time so that we can properly distil all this information. |

Gone are the days when people used to send mail through means of post office and the letters would be on the way for a long way and waiting for the reply would take even longer. What this meant is that people could not communicate effectively when an emergency arose for there was no means of doing so. The present day is where one can communicate in a manner of minutes and get a reply in the same way. There are a number of ways of doing this and one of them is calling directly the person you want to communicate with. You can also send text messages or you can write to the person or chat on facebook or you can send an email. All this ways are very fast and one can make a choice of what to use. Aren't we living in good times? I bet we are. Now, when you want to send an email you have to write your email address, your password and then login. This way you will have your email page open and you can send and read your messages. |

I do not understand why people ask me why I am crazy about the Motorola droid phone. Well if they saw the phone and used it like I am then they would understand. That is a phone of perfect beauty, it is a phone of class and to say the truth it is not an eye sore like other phones but one that is completely easy to the eye. Another reason why I love the phone other than the physical appearance is the features of the phone. It takes every clear picture you might even think that it came straight from a camera. Another reason is that Motorola has a frequent motorola software update. I have set my phone is such a way that whenever I hook it to the computer I get automatic updates on the software of the phone. The updates are usually updated on, my phone all the time and that improves the performance of the phone. The Motorola droid is a good and spectacular phone and people should consider getting it they will not be disappointed. |

For some reason I cannot drag myself to work this morning so I decided to give myself a break and call-in sick. Most of my colleagues are worried because this is just the third time that I have missed work since I started working in the company about five years ago, so naturally my “I am sick” excuse is working. Since I have nothing else to do but stay in my pad I just cleaned my room and was surprised to find several used cell phones. I know that I have lost at least two but I didn’t expect that I lost them at home. All the while I thought I left it in the office or in a cab going somewhere. I find it quite amusing that a few hours back I just have one cellular phone and now I have four. I pass the hours reading some of my past messages and there are quite a few that cracked me up all in all I am having so much fun. |

Phone stalking takes stalking to a desperate level. Many people who get obsessed by other people know that they will easily get a restraining order if they continue making the other personns life uncomfortable so they decide to result in a different kind of stalking. I had a dorm mate who used to stalk one of my male friends all the time. She realized that following him around was not working so she got his number from my phone without me noticing. He would call him at very weird hours of the night with an unknown number and then refuse to talk and then listen to him constantly ask who that was. So what he did is that he went to his mobile service provider and reported it as one of his phone problems and asked them to block all incoming unknown calls. She had not anticipated for this move and whenever she tried calling him the calls never went through. She thought she had phone problems too and it is later on when she realized what he had done. She embarked on stalking him on Facebook now. |

Losing a password is like losing keys to your house or keys to your travel bag. When you think of it in a much higher level you will realize that when you lose a password a part of you feels gone. This not need be because losing or forgetting a password is not the end of the world and one has ways in which they can solve this problem. When you think about it, you will realize that all you need is the know how and you can easily get the knowledge either from those who have done it before or from the net. At a time like this there is usually something one may be on urge of doing like reading an email yet they can not do it because they have forgotten their email password. Reset Password is where one should click on a computer if they have lost any kind of password. A month ago, I purchased an LG TV set. It was a new make in the market and I wanted something fancy for my new home. On getting home with the TV, I set it ready for connection. I followed the connection guide in the TVs instruction manual but after all that the TV will not work. I disconnected once more an reconnected and it still will not work. I took the TV the following day to the LG retail shop, where I had purchased it from. I wanted some LG Help, so I talked to the guy who sold the TV to me and he checked the TV again. It actually had a fault. I was given another TV set, an exchange, as they took the one I had for repair. This is not a favor I received from the retailer, it was my right. The law on consumers say that in case of a faulty good after purchase a consumer should receive either an exchange, a repair or a refund of their money. It seems traders have understood that bit very well because I did not need to make a request, they offered an exchange with no negotiations. |

Buying an item is one thing and being able to use it is another as people have come to realize. When buying something do not do it because your friend has the same item and you want to fit in yet you do not know how to use it. This will be a total waste of money because you will be pleasing others and not yourself. Some people go out of their way to do things that are not helpful to them at all and it is necessary that one knows the motive of buying some thing new. Unless one has more money to spend, it is not worth it to try and be what you are not. Uses of what you are buying is key here and one should check out the uses. I try to connect with my friends who are now living in other countries. Our connection has been made possible by the advancement of technology. Before, we just used to write letters to each other. We even waited for a month just to get the reply of the other party. It was a very long process and it somehow made our relationships disappear. We usually got mad at each other for not having received a reply or sent a new letter. Now, the internet has just made everything easier for all of us. We use the msn chat room almost every day. One day as I was very excited to open my msn account, suddenly, i forgot my msn secret question. This was a very big problem since I accidentally forgot my password and for it to remembered I had to answer the secret question. Well I tried to scan through my thoughts and voila! I remembered it. I was thankful that I was able to remember it.After that incident I made sure that I was able to have a copy of the secret question. |

I was very confused the other day when my boss left an order for me to contact his mobile phone service provider because he was experiencing problems with his phone especially when making calls and receiving calls. He never told me which service he was using at the moment and with so many service providing companies in this country, anyone in my position would have been as confused as I was. I had to ask around the office. I later had to contact T Mobile because I learned that this was his service provider from one colleague. The days we had only one service providing company in this country are long gone and people should at least learn their companies in order to ease their time whenever they want to contact their company. So many people do not know which service they are currently using, or which service their best friend is using in case you are required to help at one time or another. This is not good at all. Knowledge of the different companies is also good in case you want to switch to the best because their services and costs differ. |

When purchasing items like a washing machine, many consumers do not take time to confirm if the machine is working before taking it home. As long as another person has a similar machine and it is working, we never bother to ascertain if the machine we are purchasing is actually working well, and when we realize it is faulty after its already at home, we get so frustrated an we start blaming retailers for the fault. These retailers get these items when they are still in their packages from manufacturers therefore it is really hard for the retailer to know if the item is working well or not. Its the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that what they are buying is good and its working as they want. Testing a machine before purchasing it will prevent the many conflicts that come about as a result of washing machine problems after purchase. Only then will the retailer know if actually the machine developed faults after it was used or it had problems from the factory point, then they will know the kind of compensation to give to the consumer. |
