Phone stalking takes stalking to a desperate level. Many people who get obsessed by other people know that they will easily get a restraining order if they continue making the other personns life uncomfortable so they decide to result in a different kind of stalking. I had a dorm mate who used to stalk one of my male friends all the time. She realized that following him around was not working so she got his number from my phone without me noticing. He would call him at very weird hours of the night with an unknown number and then refuse to talk and then listen to him constantly ask who that was. So what he did is that he went to his mobile service provider and reported it as one of his phone problems and asked them to block all incoming unknown calls. She had not anticipated for this move and whenever she tried calling him the calls never went through. She thought she had phone problems too and it is later on when she realized what he had done. She embarked on stalking him on Facebook now.
