Many people are put off making a compensation claim when they have an injury because of the cost of the solicitor. We all know that solicitors can be really expensive but it is worth knowing that there are ways of making these sorts of claims more affordable.
There is no legal aid available for this sort of case which can make things a bit worrying. However, there is no win no fee. This means that if the solicitor does not win the case, they will not charge you any fee. You may have a few things to pay for, but not that much and so it could be well worth discussing things with a solicitor.
They will charge you if they win the case for you but you will be able to pay it out of you compensation money. If you are really worried then they will be able to explain to you exactly how much they will charge and in what circumstances. They will also be able to give you an idea of how much money you will b likely to receive should the case be won. You will then be able to work out how much you will have left after paying them and decide whether you think it is worth going ahead with the claim.
How much you get will depend on the nature of your injury and the amount of costs it has caused you to have. The money can make a significant difference to your life and it is well worth considering going through with a claim. You should be able to leave the solicitor to deal with it all for you and therefore it should not be stressful and it could make a big difference to you. It is worth finding out more about it, at least.
